Quick Question on where to by 99 spec turbo

I am in need of new turbo for my 93 touring. The Greddy T66 is on backorder with no date of availability. I have given my mechanic 6 weeks to get it. If he can't procure it, where can I buy the 99 specs? Ray does not sell it anymore. Just wondering who to call to get them if necessary.

TIA,
chagar

RX7.com, RX7Store.net among many others. BNR stage III are cheaper and better in many ways.

True. But depending on his state of modifications and use of the car...stock ECU, no modding the 'Y' pipe etc. the stock turbos might be the better/easier choice IMO.

I have pfc with commander,1600 secondaries, M2 jetcoated downpipe, greddy SMIC, cold air intake, Racing Beat dual exaust, and other mods I don't recall. I am 61 yr old and do not want 400+ HP. Just want to get her fixed. I drive the car less than 1500 miles per year and keep it in storage.

TIA

Well, I'm not sure what it has to do with anything, but you have very few years on me.
Your avatar indicated you were only "moderately modded" so I wasn't sure.
Don't know ALOT about them, but if your running significantly higher than stock boost...or have plans to do so, BNRs are more robust and efficient. And they might be the better choice.
But if your running stock boost (or < 12 psi) and not looking at increasing that... and with only occasional use the car, I agree with your instincts and would stay with stock (99 spec) twins. They'll bolt right up and you go. As a fossil, I like that.
