Quick Question, Spark Plugs.

Hey guys, i've searched for spark plugs but the search doesnt give specific kinds.

Anyways, my question is are NKG Laser series the same as the ones on rx7store.net "NKG platinum"?

Also, these are safe to use on pretty much a stock FD?

no idea about "laser" plugs.
but i think you should just get BUR"X"EQP plugs "x" being the heat range.
It should work out cheaper and they are perfect for stock / near stock cars..

o.k. so I bought the NKG Platinum ones.

4764 - BUR7EQP
5255 - BUR9EQP

I shouldn't have any problems with these right?

No problems as long as your car is near stock. I run all bur9eqp's since I have a few mods.

Denso (or NGK) Racing Iridiums blow the stock NGKs off the table in terms of longevity

Ya I have a set of 7's and 9's of NKG Iridium and Platinum.

I assumed the new Platinum ones were better, so i'm tossing those on tomorrow instead of the Iridium.

No - platinums wear very fast in these motors, Iridiums are vastly superior

Depends.

Driving style, if you premix, your tune, car health (if everything is working properly), if you have an ignition amp (hks tp). Etc

I have the plats and it looked normal after 6k miles or about a year. I was told I could have went more but I felt the fatigue in the car during the end.

So I would say 8-10k on average. Imo.

The Platinums are heavily worn after 5k miles in my car, Iridiums looked almost new with 10k - but I'm running alot more boost than the guy above (who has a stock ECU) and I drive the car hard
