Quick Nipple Size Question

I would like to plug up my Pre Control and WG actuator vent lines -- that normally go to their respective Solenoids. I have bypassed them, using hallman boost controllers.

What size cap do I need for these nipples?

smart people may say "the same size of tubing you used on the inbound nipple, dumbbutt!"
to that I reply, the hose I used was sized using letters, and did not list the actual diameters.

why i am capping them: un-screwing my MBCs all of the way still results in ~10-11psi in boost. The silicon lines to/from them seem fine (could be wrong). I can only surmise that the excess pressure is just shooting down the uncapped vent side and not allowing the acutator to open the WG properly.

You can also just loop a line from one actuator to the other.

I can't remember the exact size, but McMaster-Carr has EPDM rubber caps that work great. Measure the nipples and maybe go a size down.

May want to do a search for "EPDM", I may have listed the sizes I used previously.

This is what I'm using, I got the size from Dale

9/64" OD for the regular vacuum nipple, McMaster-Carr part #6448K73, 3/16" OD for wastegate actuator, McMaster-Carr part #6448K76.

"bigger is better" does not apply to nipples

I met a girl once with 'golf-tee sized' nipples. They were so long.

Isn't that weird? I wonder if you can put a rubber band around them and the excess falls off after time, like a dog's tail.
