Quick FMIC Question! please answer

INTERCOOLER QUESTION
Did a search, none specific enough to the info i needed.

Currently looking into a Greddy M-spec Intercooler,

my front/engine bay:
Intake = HKS RS
Alum AST
Yellowtop Optima 51R
Stock mounts on everything.
OEM 99'spec front bumper, no rebar

what do i need to make the install work?

1) i dont want to move the battery into the car, so do i need a new battery bin? to relocate within the bay?

2) Will the FMIC clear the HKS RS intake fine?

3) Since theres no rebar, will i need to trim the 99'spec bumper?

4) where do i mount the AST?

5) any suggestions about relocating all the relays and brackets??

Thanks for the answers/advice everyone!

1. you need a smaller battery, or you need to relocate your battery to the rear bin. I have a Odyssey PC 925 in the stock location.

3. Most likely. the stock bumpers sit pretty close to the chasis. You'll probably need to do a little trimming to get the FMIC to fit.

5. On my setup, they weren't relocated, just bolted down differently from before. I don't know where the guys who did the work got the brackets or how they're attached though.

I'm not sure on 2 or 4, because they aren't applicable to my setup.

1) the "51R" is a smaller battery than the "stock group35", so does that mean i have to go even smaller than that? because i will be running a sound system as well, and dont think a slim racing battery could sustain it.

thanks for the info sloasfk

if you're running a sound system, I'd reccomend relocating your battery to the rear bin, and getting a dry cell deep cycle Optima or something compairable.
