Quick flooding question...
I've searched, and it didn't yield the info I need...I could be blind but please don't flame. Anyway.....
I'm having my car fixed...a little body work... and I was thinking I should probably warn the shop about flooding seeing as how they'll be moving it short distances and all.
Does the 7 have to be DRIVEN for any reason to keep from flooding, or just brought up to operating temp. I can't imagine just moving the wheels would make a difference like that, but I'd kinda like to know.
Thank you

i have never heard of a similar problem with any other car...only the RX-7. what causes the engine to flood if you turn it on then off again shortly??
TIA

Ports, no valves. Excess cold-start fuel(the AWS especially) can possibly drain into the engine and foul the plugs. Depends on where the rotors line up also. Think Russian roulette with a revolver.

K...thanks guys...now let's hope I don't get a call telling me it's flooded.
OH, and you can congratulate me as I repaired my first part on my car....I changed the turbo couplers out for silicone ones
I know I know..simple...but I'm proud.
Thanks
