What RPM does this drop occur at?
Is it in 3rd gear ONLY? What about 4th? 5th? (assuming you don't get pulled over going 100+ mph testing this out

Normal boost is going to hit 10 PSI then hold stead till around 4500 RPM
Then it will drop for a brief moment to around 7 PSI and then quickly recover back to 10 PSI and hold till redline.

This would be a "10-7-10" boost pattern. Sounds like you might have a "10-5-5" which might indicate that the pills are missing in your turbo control lines.

Do a search on "pills" and "boost" for more info.

The turbo control system is ridiculously complicated, but when it works right, it makes the car wonderful to drive!
