Ramy (FDNewbie) will get back to you. He gets a lot of mail so sometimes he's not able to get to all of them in a single day. Check this thread about seats:

I like the way my Corbeau Cr1's fit in my Fd. The seat has a decent hold also.

They don't tilt. I've sat in two different RZ's and unless I was drunk on both occasions they only move forward and backwards.

The tilt function is in the rails. There maybe some sets that come without the tilt function in the rails. Mine have them and to my knowledge, the ones Ramy sells have them too. (I'd actually be interested in the non tilt rails if they could be set at a desired position. They add a bit of weight to the seat and I only use 2 of the 4 available positions.) Basically to the right of the handle that moves the seat forward and back, is another handle that allows you to tilt the whole seat in the 4 positions. If it wasnt such a PITA to take my car out of the garage I would take some pics to show what the bottom looks like and the angles for tilt.

Guys, right now I'm SWAMPED. So please, I'd REALLY appreciate it if instead of asking me general questions like "what Bride seats fit," you search, find the answer, decide on one (or two) seats you DEFINITELY want, then email me the order. So much of my time goes to doing research for ppl in rare/hard to find parts, so lets not add to that info that's readily available right here on the forum

Thanks,
~Ramy

RX8 seats don't fit. I tried it. I have a pair sitting here collecting dust...

Sparco "Road" seats fit and they are cheap, I think about $300. But they do not recline. Good cheap track seats

The Torino will fit, but its tight. You might have minor issues with the seat controls on the side, but they do fit.

The OP said he wanted new seats becuase he hates his tan seats. He suggested buying aftermarket seats as a solution to get rid of them. Why has no one suggested reupholsterying his stock seats? He can get new seat upholstery from Leatherseats.com and have it installed for between $650 and 750.

That's all depends on how its mounted. I believe Bride and MemoryFab both have "Super Low" mounting rails which fit the FD. Many people pair other types of seats with those rails.

I understand; the threads on this form have more information on them that what I know. I'm not a seat expert by any means; that's why I require that ppl do their research before ordering, because I don't know and can't verify whether seats ppl want will fit or not.

Please let me know asap I want to order them, Im not just wasting your time and not going to order.....Thanks alot
Don't worry, I don't feel you're looking to waste my time, but I won't be able to provide you with any further info re: fitment other than what's already posted on the forum. I only take care of the back end of the deal (pricequoting & ordering).

Oh and I wouldn't post your # on a public forum FYI. Not a good idea

And FDnewbie I was just wondering what Bride seats you said you had ordered for a customer were? The ones you said you found in Japan for a better deal? What are they and how much?
I've ordered several seats for customers, so again it comes down to which seats you are interested in. And as always, the tradeoff for lower prices from overseas is a longer wait time for delivery. So keep that in mind.

And FDnewbie I wanted to know when you order seats like the oem recardos or what not do they come with brackets??
Well I don't order OEM Recaros. They're over $8,000 new. I purchase used sets in excellent condition, most of which - but not all - come with rails. The price reflects this accordingly.

Mahjik-And I think they sit high dont they?
Most Bride (and even Recaro) seats come with either regular or ultra-low profile rails; you can specify which one you want.

FDnewbie-please contact me I want to fiqure out what seats I want so I can order
Once you figure out which seats you'd like, drop me an email at Info@FDNewbieImports.com and I'll try and take care of it ASAP.

Thanks,
~Ramy
