Question for V-mount IC owners

For those of you who have installed a V-mount IC, in order to plug in the radiator fans (because of their new location), did you unhook the wiring harness from how it is mounted in the car and re-route it to the fans? ...Or did you just cut the end of the harness off and solder/extend new wiring to the fans?

Extend the wires, and use good wire, and put some shrink wrapping or something around to give it some extra protection... and for crying out loud, Solder, don't crimp ! Do a nice job and you may never have to worry about it again (crosses fingers)

Extended the wires, currently in the middle of the installation. It's AC line time...

I extended the wires too. The AC lines suck!
I was very happy with the set up once completed.
