Question in Radiator relocation !??
Question in Radiator relocation !??
I m going to relocate my radiator due to install FMIC. I have Koyo Radiator.
I would like to know what kind of hoses should i use, should i buy a new one or just cut the old to make it fit ??
I did a research in this fourm, i see some of the FD owner have their relocation kit from where they bought the FMIC; my KOYO doesnt come with it, Could i buy a mounting kit for Koyo radiator ??
Does anyone have Picture of their relocation kit ?? (In case, i need to make one)
thx S.

the easy answer is the relocation kit is part of the fmic kit...Greddy and Apexi are the only ones i know for sure that include everything needed to for the swap.
I have the Greddy 2 row w/ koyo, and i can tell you with the hardware from the kit is easy and straight forward. Youre gonna need to make about 4 brackets in order to make it fit.
What fmic do you have? it makes a difference!

well, this is the problem cuz i m going to do some other brand FMIC instead of Greddy or Apexi, and run the custom piping. Since i m not getting the Greddy and Apexi, i need to figure it out what relocation kit should i buy or make ?? As you said, what does the bracket look like ??? is it just like an adepter ??
thx
thx
You should be able to make your own brackets, the top brackets would be easier, it might be a little more complicated to make the bottom brackets, you would have to drill a big hole for the perches on the bottom of the rad. I had to do some custom bracket work for the top of my fluidyne radiator, I actually got brackets at the hardware store and was going to make the brackets, then I found some extra brackets from my greddy fmic kit that worked good.
