question for people w/ turbo timers

What happens if you have a turbo timer and you stall. The timer starts counting down right? What would happen if you started it up again while it was counting down? When the timer reaches zero does it shut down again or just keep running?

In another scenario lets say you turn off the ignition, but the turbo timer hasn't shut down the car yet. If you need to drive it again right away before it has shut down, how would you go about doing that? Would you have to kill the engine first then start it up again or can you stick the key in, turn it to the appropriate position and just go?

I also have the HKS timer. For scenario #1, if you stall you are most likely moving right? Well, once the E-brake is down the timer will not work. So if u are driving (with ebrake down) and u stall, the engine will just shut off as if it would if u didnt have the timer. That is why if u turn the ignition off and lock your car (while it is still timing down), when someone jumps in your car and trys to drive away, as soon as they put down the ebrake it shuts off the car.

Scenario #2
IF you are timing down the car and u want to drive it again but your keys aren't in the ignition, just put them in, turn them to "on" and put the ebrake down. THe timer will shut off but the car will stay running. =)

I have an older HKS, if they're still the same, the timer does not start counting down until you turn the ignition key to the starting position.

I've got the greddy - if the timer is counting down, just leave the key in, turned to the "on" position, and the timer resets when it hits zero.

I've actually never stalled this car, so I can't say what would happen for sure, but I'm 95% sure that the timer wouldn't know that you stalled and would stay set to whatever time you have it set for - it is activated wehn you turn the key off, as opposed to when the engine turns off.

If u stall the car with a turbo timer that is properly hooked up (e-brake wire is hooked up to prevent theft) then it will just shut off like a normal car because the ebrake is down. Once the EBRAKE is down, the car will not time down.
