Question on M2 downpipe (hopefully not stupid)

I recently got an M2 3" downpipe from rx7store.net. while I was soaking the bolts in preperation for removal of the pre-cat, it looks like the 3" downpipe will be to big to bolt on to the main cat. Since it took like a month to get the downpipe ( no did intended Jason, know it was not your fault ), I don't wat to take the car apart only to have to get stuck with apipe that doesn't fit. Maybe I'm delierous, but is doesn't seem like the right size to me. If I'm wrong, just dope slap me & tell me to stop being a ***** & install it.

I just installed my petit DP last week and it fit perfectly, petit and M2 downpipes are just about the same.

Good luck!
While you're at it, get a new gasket too.
You'll love this mod!

Nah, it will fit. While you're at it though, soak the studs on the main cat. Mine broke when I installed my dp.

I agree, I have the m2 and it fits very nicely with the stock cat, aftermarket hi flow cats, and midpipes
