Question on brake bleeding

If I'm just disconnecting brake lines in the front of my car to get the rotors turned, when I reconnect everything and bleed the brakes do I only need to bleed the front brakes because they were the ones disconnected, or do I need to bleed the rears as well?

Thanks!

You should be able to get away with only bleeding the front. However, if it's been a while since you have done the back, I would bleed them all.

Why disconnect the brake line to take the rotor off? All you had to do was take the caliper off the spindle and leave the line connected. You can probably just bleed the fronts but I would bleed everything while your at it.

Hey all you have to do is disconnect the calipers, and let them hang by the brake line, don’t disconnect your brake line, waste of time! Now you should bleed all the brakes, and start front right then go clockwise all around.

Spend five minutes and make a hanger hook out of a coat hanger to support the caliper. No use risking potential damage to the brake line.

Now you should bleed all the brakes, and start front right then go clockwise all around.
Uhh, what are you talking about?

The earlier post was correct, he should be able to just bleed the fronts to get the air out. If you are going to do a full bleed (all four) then start with the two rears and then work your way to the fronts.
