Question before I rebuild the motor.

Question before I rebuild the motor.
Its time for me to pull the motor as a test reveals low compression on the front rotor 50 and 60 on the rear,i think i hurt it turning up the boost one night and it spiked on me,oh well.My motor runs but only up to 5500 rpm.
Power will not be a problem now as I have instralled a 35 r however I still have not been able to get out of vacuum and into boost at all! I assumed it was a solenoid/vacuum leak/actuator problem with the stock twins and problem searched ad nauseam to find the leak to no avail.
My question is am I not producing boost because of a broken side seal/apex seal inside my motor or is it something else? I would like to root it out before we pull it
If no boost is a symtom of a broken motor then fine,if it isnt where else do I need to look, injectors? coils? thanks.

You should still see boost with a damaged motor, provided it's not horribly blown. If it has enough compression to start and drive, then you should be able to spool the turbo.
