Question About the Wastegate Actuator

There are 2 nipples on it. One is for the line that goes to the turbo. The other is for a line that goes to the wastegate solenoid right?
Since I've gone non-seq and using a home depoit BC, I got rid of the wastegate and precontrol solenoids.
I am wondering what the purpose of that line is for. It's plug right now.
Does it vent pressure from the wastegate?

I always like to reply to your posts even though I don't know what I'm talking about haha.

but I did have my car down for 5 straight days and had everything but the motor out so I do totally understand the non sequential now and rerouted all my lines.

The right nipple goes to the top nipple on the wastegate solanoid. The left nipple goes to the right nipple on the primary turbo and in between there is where you would run the manual boost controller.

How can you get rid of the wastegate solenoid? The precontrol isn't in use but the wastegate is. With that not connected I believe you won't see more than 7psi unless you get creep.

I believe that line tells the wastegate when to open and when to close. For instance if you don't put anything on the right nipple of the wastegate actuator you will probably see near 20psi.

I hope you get this cleared up.

It did vent the pressure from the diaphragm .

Most manual controllers will have a very small hole drilled in the actuator side of the valve ( as ball and spring ) to release the pressure after the valve has closed . You must be able to release the actuater pressure or the wastegate will stay open after the valve is shut .
