Question Question about RHD interior

Does the gauge cluster shroud, the plastic curved dash piece that breaks o so easily if removed wrong, on a RHD FD the same as on a LHD FD? Basically could I buy piece of a LHD and install it on a RHD?

I was told by a good source that they are not interchangeable between LHD and RHD, but have not tested it myself.

I have the actual RHD Spirit R interior pieces. NONE OF THEM are transferable to LHD.

I've checked this before, part numbers are the same left to right....if you're talking the part with the 3 push-in spring clips attaching the binnacle to the dash.

Naaaah. I bought a piece to paint and texture match and then out of nowhere, the rest of the set showed up for sale. I couldn't resist. The pieces now sit tucked away. Fullfilling their destinys as paper weights.

Ah yeah, it was actually the vents that interchange - group buy on here 4 or 5 years back. I remember speaking to Mr Crowe about the binnacle at the time - wasn't cheap even over there, but cheaper than buying from Japan.

RH one in texture is F132-55-420B, got one second-hand from Yahoo before every man and his dog began bringing in half-cuts and pushed down prices. Might be prudent to stock up on trim, as that's usually the first thing to go NLA too.

They are NOT the same, the contour is completely different. I have tried using a rhd piece in my FD and it isn't even remotely close to fitting.
