Question about buying an RX7-Help!
I am intersted in buying a black 1993 RX-7 from a private owner. It is in very good condition the car has 59,000 Miles/ Its turbo/ and is automatic. He is asking for $12,000. Is this a good price or should i ask him to go lower. I went to edmunds.com to get the pricing and it said $7,685 for private party. Should i go for it?

if you buy an rx7 for $7,685 don't expect it to have an engine....
random questions: sure you want to get an automatic? any mods on the car? compression test?
btw, all 93-95 rx7's have the sequential twin turbos...

Dude, don't get the automatic...If you do you will just be in total envy of everyone with a manual tranny and feel regret when you think about your purchase.

Im with these guys, i would never ever ever buy a sports car with an auto tranny. No offense, but sports cars with auto trannys are for chicks. hold out on a 5spd. If you dont know how to drive a 5spd, learn, you wont regret it. My cousin has a pearl white 3000gt, that is beautiful, but everyone makes fun of him b/c it is automatic. (even from people with 1989 civics with only mod being a loud muffler)
