question about 99 spec turbos

do the 99 spec turbo have a bigger wastegate port? i was gonna port my but have the chance to pick up 99 spec turbo for cheap.... if the port is the same i guess i can just make it bigger before they go on the car.


also, what are the benifits of the 99 spec turbos?

basically for 2700 dollars i'd save up a little bit more and get a 62-1 single kit...

if i HAD to upgrade and keep the stock twins (Though im not sure why someone would do that) i'd get the BNR's

Same here. I bought mine with the 99 twins, and am curious as to why it was done that way. I would of gone single for close to the same price.
