Question on how to install new bushings.

I picked up a complete set of Delrin bushings from a guy on this site. I almost have all the old bushings pressed out and im about to start pressing the new ones in, but i gotta question. On the delrin bushings, one side of the bushing has a lip that presses against the part you are pressing it into, my question is which way do you press the bushings in? For example on the front lower control arms does the lip need to be on the side that is towards the rear of the car or towards the front? And on the driver side rear trailing arm does the lip need to be on the driver or passenger side? If you guys need me to explain better just let me know. TIA

If I remember correctly which ever direction you pressed out the bushing you would press in the new bushing in the opposit direction. In another words the lip would be on the "outside" of the holes.

Just a note, I lubed the outside of the bushings so they would slide in easier. It also made it great for indicating when they were all the way in: the lube would squish out around the lip, showing that the lip had contacted the mating surface on the suspension arm. If they're out even so much as 1mm (which my diff carrier bushings were at one point), they won't install right.
