In case anyone is still monitoring this thread, I just e-mailed the guy who is making these. He still plans on working on the RX-7 clusters, but due to limited time, has been delayed.

Can I get a status? I'm getting ready to do my cluster and would like black face with white backlight. I'd rather not make them myself, but I WILL!

3rd gen parts are always on backorder, we have to wait forever for them, regardless if it's coming stateside or overseas

 

Dave is right, I have talked with the guy recently as well and he is busy. I want these gauges just as much as you all do!!! If any info comes up it will go on this thread first.

have we tried www.speedhut.com The made a set for my Fiero. Top notch quality and fit. i think you have to send them a set of gauges working or nonworking, which aren't returned, and at least 15 prepays or something like that. I will take pictures of the ones in my Fiero tonight.

anyhow just a thought.

 

They have a pretty nice site. I like how you can do custom gauges right from their page. (It doesn't work in lynx though. )

I think I talked to speedhut, for my RX-7 and even about gauges for my VW... The reason I was turned away was because they can't do two colors in EL. I wanted all the markings which were red to light up red. Dave at S3 Design has this done, not to mention the quality looks incredible.

 

How is the status of the guages? I maybe interested...

Let us know the various options. I think I'm in. I really hate the "red" backlight of the stock gauges.
