Thumbs up Quality pics at the beach today (56K Beware!!!)

Hey, everyone. On the drive home from work today, while stuck in traffic on the beach (Spring Breakers are here...great......yay) a lot of people in cars or strollin' along the sidewalk were staring at me occasionally tilting their heads w/ some smiling and making "o" shapes w/ their mouths. Why I thought? Then I just smiled and honestly thought to myself w/o being conceited, "...it must be my RX-7." So I decided to pull over to a beachy spot and take some pics of my FD (...always gotta' have my camera on me!). Slowly getting some reliability mods done as well as trying to restore some stock interior parts...slowly but surely! I don't know about all of you, but here's a big reason why I love FDs (other than it's uniqueness and rotary concept)...the lines and designs! Simply one of the greatest, timeless designs in automotive history IMO. I love all imports, domestics, Europeans...but FD's will always be my #1 love. Anyhow, enough of me talking...check her out:

Thanks everyone for comments. Latest mods/matinenence were painting my calipers red (thanks Dale!) and replacing my MC/SM after major clutch pedal stickin' (full bleed didn't help). I know there will be other obstacles big or small during my mod upgrades or restoration but hopefully nothing too overwhelming or frustrating to the point of selling. I've been chasing any FD for the last 7 years and finally landed this one last year around this time. So just wanted to share these pics with ya'll as a memory of what I've worked/working for.

Haha...you really want some?

By the way, the comment I sarcastically I made above about Spring Brakers coming here...it's not like that I dislike them...it's just traffic is HORRIBLE big time on the beach! Haha.

Car looks great. How far down do those springs drop the car (from stock)? I was thinking of primering/painting/whatever to darken the side rails. They are the ONLY sore point as far as the FD's looks are concerned IMHO. To me, the FD will always one of the best looking autos EVER built

Thanks for everyone's compliments.

Yah, actually..it does need adjusting...say on a pretty slope hill (those are rare where I live)...when I pull the e-brake..the car will make the usual "err" noise indicating it's e-braking but can still move if i REALLY push the car with my hands. I'll have to adjust the nut. Thanks for reminding me though.

The area in the background is actually a boat launch area next to the regular sandy shore....so it was nice background I thought. Maybe I should drive it into the seaoats and sand for a "unique" view.

Thats bad ***, i like the rotor shape in the bottom of the opening in the stock bumper covers. Where did you get your triple dash pods?
audiobot, you change your front nose cover yet?
