It appears you pushed yourself beyond your own limits.

Don't take this the wrong way, justed wanted to make the distinction and remind people to be aware of our own mortality - and the dangers of being too sure of one's self behind the wheel of a car .

I drive 40K miles a year with just under 400K worth of driving total, yet my ego get's the better of me at times and has me going into a corner a little too hot/etc. It happens to all of us, experienced (street) drivers or not, and it appears you understand this now. Get well soon, and get that FD fixed.
