Purple Ice

and i don't mean jewlery

I started using Purple Ice in my coolant system this past week. I notice my fans don't want to come on anymore when I stop the car and leave the key in. Why am I shocked this stuff actually works?

anyone else using this stuff with good/bad results?

Yeah, I use it to. It is awesome stuff. I'm about to try water wetter for a while to see which works best and I will let you guys know the results.

I have used water wetter and I will say that it unquestionably works, I have not used purple ice though, I would definately be interesting in knowing which one you think works better, can't wait to hear!

Been wanting to try purple ice because I am a royal purple fan. only thing is I'm deciding on going with redline because I believe if I happen to leak coolant pink would be a lot easier to spot on the road or black top then purple.

You'll see green unless you fill up only with Water Wetter.

I personal havent used water wetter but purple ice works great. My friend has used both and said purple ice seem to cool just a little better. A local performance shop here used to sell water wetter and now only has purple ice do to performance of cooling he says.
