pulley install problems (pics inside)

1) can't torque water pump...it just turns. i can't tighten the alt belt to hold it either (that is in problem #2). what are some other options?

2) i can't get the alternator belt as tight as it needs to be. the tensioner bolt is maxed out. did you guys dremil a bigger hole at the top of the bracket?

3) water pump pulley is rubbing on radiator hose clamp. anybody else had this problem? will it go away after i get the pump properly torqued down?

4) #4 isn't a problem...i just wanted to show you my engine w/out the a/c!

have indigo complete pulley kit as well....

Number one...
Use an air rachet...or use a sears oil filter rubber wrench to hold it in place while torquing

Number two....
Make sure who have the right size belt...

Number three....
Dont fret....use an adjustable hose clamp (screw tension)...
they are thinner than the stock clamp

a hint for the main belt, take it to a belt shop and let them look at it. you have the same issue that i did, and i simply bought a smaller one, and tightened it up......
