Puffing white smoke....
Big time.... even after it is fully warmed up the motor is puffing white smoke.
Not sure what to think, what exactly does this indicate if anything?
I'm still leaking oil as well, even after replacing the oil drain plug gasket, so I'm assuming the oil pan needs to be re-sealed. Motor is misfiring still as well What a mess
Any help would be appreciated.

'White' smoke usually indicates coolant related.
'Blue' is oil.
'Blackish' is gas. (Or I 'white' with strong gas smell).
If it's running rich (Black) that's the only one that isn't much to worry about. The others =

Yea.... this car / motor is a nightmare. I'm almost tempted to pull it and buy a completely new motor, I just don't know if it would be worth the $$ involved. As it is right now I'm already loosing my *** with this car.
I was assuming it was coolant or oil related, but I wasn't sure about it being a coolant seal problem as I haven't noticed any drop in coolant levels or leaks.
I'll keep an eye on it, but most likely the motor will be going in to Mazda soon for many many issues. Thanks for the quick reply

sorry to hear it man, consistent white smoke is more often then not coolent seal failure. prepare to loose your *** even further by taking it to mazda. these cars can make or break your wallet if you dont have the income/and or time to cover it. FDs are 10+ years old now and parts start to brake more and more frequently.

Well....I'm not 100% on taking it to Mazda. I still have another option because of a guy that lives in town who can do a rebuild and re-seal of the motor for me, and he can port it too. Not sure if I want to go down that road yet, but I might since he doesn't charge too much and gets your car back to you in 7 days. He has good feedback on here as well.

Mazda dealers are noted for being uninformed about the rotaries, and often do more harm than good working on them. Unless your dealer is is an exception, I'd try to find a reputable shop that specializes in RX-7's.

I've got a coolant problem with my car. It does'nt consume as much coolant as one would think.
The link for video for my car does'nt work for some reason. But if you use your imagination when compared to Dgeesman's car, It's about three times as much on mine.
