Puff of smoke under acceleration

Had a friend behind me the other day and when I would accelrate hard he mentioned he saw a medium puff of smoke right when I got on it and a little smoke while I continued to accelerate. He could not tell if the smoke was blue or white. Any suggestions?? The car has 24k on the odo. Could it be the turbos??

He also noticed a fairly pungent smell that he could not classify. He said it smelled like I had no cats and kinda like rotten eggs.

Thanks
