Hi see the pics. Where does this sensor plug in I found it plugged into nothing and can't find a socket. Also in the second pic what is that unplugged connecter? Looks the same as the ac plug but I can see the wires on top of compressed plugged in. Thanks.

 

The first one (black with yellow inside) looks like the knock sensor. Verify that it leads to a sensor installed above the spark plugs, likely the front rotor housing. The other half of the connection is on the main engine harness, and would be coming over the top-front of the engine.

The second (white) looks like the connection for the AC. There is a white plug on top of the compressor which leads into a blue one next to it, then it has a third plug that connects to the harness. The other half of the connection is probably hanging around the front leading spark plug.

 

The last owner swapped the knock sensor and power steering found out why my series8 rs wasn't making stock 13psi though so stoked. Yeah reckon it's ac
But can't find the plug. The earth one that plugs into it's self there but nearly feels like it's been cut off. An earth that plugs into an earth also is on top of ac right?

 

I'm not sure if anything changed for the S8's, but here is a harness from an S6. AC plugs are at the bottom center. The blue connector and the white conector to its right are plugged in on top of the compressor. The other end is attached to the harness by a nylon tie.

 

Thanks mate. It's the compressor side I'm trying to find the hanging cord and think it must be tucked away so looking for it's location on the compressor. As far as I can tell my a/c only has the white plug. Also that "to emissions harness" is wrong that is for the knock sensor.
