Question psi ? and new turbos?

how much psi can the stock twin turbos boost? whats the safest and biggest push? and how do you guys get that line on the bottome showing your modifications? I was thinking what is the best single turbo for my 93 rx7..? i was thinking about getting a greddy t-88? info please? why does it say i have an exauhst leak in my profile?

People have run the stock turbos up and past 17 PSI. The stock map sensor is limited to 17 (ish) PSI. However, how efficient the turbos are at those higher levels is the problem.

Push? Are you talking boost levels? If so, safe boost levels are defined by many parameters:

* fuel system (Air/Fuel ratio)
* turbo efficiency
* intercooler
* air flow
* driver skill (or lack there of)

That is done by adding a "Signature" in your user profile. Make sure to follow the forum rules for the signatures:

What single turbo depends on the type of application (i.e. what type of driving for the car). Also, there is more to adding a single turbo than just buying a single turbo kit. The fuel system needs to be addressed, ECU and it's programming, etc.. It becomes very costly, very quick.

That is based on the number of total posts you have. Not all forums here count towards post count (places like the lounge don't count).
