Because scratching together a thousand dollars for a down payment is not the same as paying for the car in cash. However, given your recent posts, I'm not surprised that the difference is lost on you.

Well let's hope you gain some wisdom between now and then, shall we?

They are bragging. There is no other reason to chime in with "I'm only xx years old and I paid for my own car" except to brag.

Sure you are.
Although I said I was done, and you accurately pointed out that I wasn't, I just want to point out two things:

1.)This tread is seriously out of hand

2.)You have the same problem many Americans have, you can read writing but you can't comprehend what it means.

Now I'm done with this thread.

This coming from someone who has no comprehension of what the terms repossess and foreclosure mean in regards to property which has not yet been completely paid for? Priceless.

Now I'm done with this thread.
Sure you are.

****, I'm 20 and apparently i was raised with some extra care because i was taught not to ask about personal money questions. if he paid for it, and how much, ain't none of my business.

(this is a response to the 1st page)

-edited, hey, I never claimed to be a stunning linguist.

"1.)This tread is seriously out of hand" And since you're not American(I'm guessing since you have no problem with reading comprehension) can you tell me what nationality can't spell?

I've heard this "stereotype" where they say it's usually the more uneducated people that have a problem with mispelling... Probably just a "stereotype" though, couldn't be anywhere near true..

This is probably being linked in the Porsche forum Lounge right now as "RX-7 owners on track to out-***** Porschephiles".

I know that this is now the.. let me see... third time I said I was done with this thread but I just wanted to clear up one thing. After reading the responses, I can see how my post can be misconstrued to be insulting Americans and that was not my intent. I am an American and I love America, I should have said "people" not Americans. Sorry for the mix up. Please don't anyone respond because I really want to be done with this tRead.

Hey Jim, I caught you being a dumbass for once. There is no such word as "stupider". "Dumber" yes, "stupider" no. Think about it. You know you're wrong.

Actually, there is...

Ha! That online dictionary is NOT a proper reference. Try looking "stupider" up in Merriam Webster.

www.websters.com is not a proper reference because it doesn't agree with you?

Merriam Webster doesn't list "stupidest" either. Are you going to argue that "stupidest" isn't a word? I know you're not that stupid...

How about the American Heritage dictionary? Are they a "proper" reference? They don't agree with you either...

HOLY COW.......dont know what to say...but jimlab your a jackass...ha...But hey if you like being a jackass more power to you. I dont get why people like to flame other people. Who cares if some one doesnt like your hood or your wheels or your age, give me a BREAK. And for the record you can be any age and take out a rx7. I am 24 and have come close to scrapin the paint but never have. Now my 48yr old father on the other hand who drives for a living (truck driver) has taken out a rather large telephone pole and a T2 all in one day. So it can happen to anyone. I think more mothers should have told there kids that if they dont have any thing nice to say dont say anything at all!
Also I know I suck at spelling so if you find any mistakes keep it to your self...

Oh and by the way WELCOME TO THE FORUM!!!
