Propane Injection

has anyone with an RX-7 attempted propane injection of any sort? The guys at 3si.org (3000GT/Stealth International) are having lots of luck

normal boost on pump gas with boost controller/intake/exhaust = 14.7psi, but with propane, a steady 20psi can be obtained

kits are around $300 too

i know i'm not the most knowledgeable on the subject, but propane is a new one on me. i've heard of water injection of course, and alcohol injection... what are the advantages/differences of propane over these?

I had propane/NOS on my Viper. I got rid of it after I was rear ended in my 540i. It crushed the trunk to the back seat. And I thought "what if". When it ran it was great 300 shot on a stock fuel system with propane. It has done equally as well on supercharged Vipers but only with the NOS.

There were a few threads in the Rotary Performance section a few months back. Do a search there. From what I remember it raises the octane and helps cool the intake charge, allowing you to run more boost then the stock fuel system will allow.

I have seen some articles on propane injection on turbo diesel engines, and it is incredibly effective.
