how ironic, I was going to do something just like this with using the sanded acrylic but I won't be doing circles, I had a different idea altogether for the visual design

Damn Tom, after seeing the pics I'm sad that you took them back

Between my SakeBomb projector HIDs and these tails, I felt like I was rocking a 2010 FD at DGRRX

definitely! your car could easily pass for a new car. the led rings definitely update the look while still retaining just enough of the oem styling to look like they are 'supposed to be that way' and not aftermarket.

i think Phil's car was the only car with something different (he had these bullseye looking circles on his tails, pretty sure they were not LED though), but his tail design was more aftermarket looking, which fit his car imo.

i'm really looking forward to seeing the led rings on my own car. ive been working on these lights for awhile now, but i wont have my car back up here until june.

hopefully i have all the design bugs worked out by then!

well, on to led tails rev. 2. just need to order some more parts...

Tom is working on making them brighter all around (parking lights, braking). There is a dark spot in the center of them all, but it actually doesn't look bad in person... Kinda adds a 3D effect.

Nah, it wasn't rotors although that is a good idea, I don't wanna say what it was because someone might steal my idea.
