Profec B spec 2 defect? Anyone figured this one out?

Has anyone figured out why the Greddy profec B spec 2 hits the warning and limits boost to a much lower setting when you first start the car? In my case, it wont stop unless I press any button on it, at which point everything goes back to normal until the next time I start the car. Is there a way to disable this "feature"?? It's getting pretty annoying. I've seen other people mention that they had the same problem.

Same problem here.
No solution, but this is what I do.
I'm in the habit of turning the thing off once I get close to where I'm going.
Then when I get back in the car if I want anything above 8 psi I turn it back on and cycle it through the high/low setting.

i haven't confirmed this, but i've heard it only happens when you're units are in PSI. EFS.O, is yours set to kPa?

this was annoying to me at first, but now it's a reminder for me to check which setting i'm at (lo or hi). Then again it's sitting right on my steering column so it's no trouble.
