Profec B "option" plug

Is it possible to hook up a wired hi/low boost switch using the Option plug on the back? I asume this is where the wireless switch that Greddy sells plugs in, so it seems like maybe you could wire up a mini plug to it. Is it in fact a mini plug, and if so, is it 2 or 3 conductor?

Yes, Greddy does sell a switch, it's not wireless by any means, you can just run wires to say, the center console or something. I don't have it, so I can't tell you more than that. It is quite expensive, however:

But has anyone used the jack in the back to make there own. It has to be as simple as wiring a mini jack to a SPST momentary switch. If I only knew the wiring of the jack. Also, is the switch Greddy makes momentary or maintaining? How can you tell what boost setting you are on from there remote switch?
