problems starting (not flooded)
Hows it going everyone, just figured id see if anyone here had an idea what it might be as I think I may know but could use some opinions. My car when you turn the key to start, just clicks, you turn again it clicks, you turn again and it fires right up. Then sometimes it just fires rights up, but most of the time it just clicks. Any ideas?? I do have an upgraded ignition with a cran hi-6 and (2) lx92 coils on the leading side. Any help would be appreciated. I know it is not the ignition because it did before the upgrade.

same problem differetn car!
on my previous car (supra) when the sillinoid in the strter was going out it made a clicking noise and then sometimes it would start right up. It ran great after it was started and it did not have any pattern such as a warm start or cold start. One morning I went to go to school adn it wouldnt even click! ( took about a month from first click to go out at about three starts a day. I would think that our rx7's would have the same symptoms as far as a falty sillinoid in the starter!
You can purchase rebuilt ones at most autopart stores!
($75- for supra who knows about our rare and expensive 7's)
good luck,
joe
