Problems begin to mount - HELP!
Resurrecting my 93 and the belts broke. Replaced the belts and now I have a whole new slew of problems.
In no particular order:
- The Hold light is blinking and hold button does not work. It comes on after I shift into drive and then drive about a block.
- Odometer has disappeared.
- Speed Control does not work anymore
- Check engine light comes on when I drive and even slightly push the car past driving like an old lady
- Inside passenger door handle broke
- Driver side power window switch broke
Otherwise, the car runs beautifully and without problem.
I tried doing a reset on the computers, checked all fluid levels, fluid temps(according to gauge). Everything is fine.
Primary concerns are the blinking hold light and the check engine light. Can I do any damage continuing to drive the car? What else can I check? What could be wrong?
Thanks for any and all help you can offer.

Pull the codes and figure what codes are causing the CEL, the auto tranny is known to have tons of problems with the hold feature. Most give up and just swap in a 5 speed as it really improves the cars performance(I know about 3 auto owners will probalby come in and disagree).
DS window switch is $150.00 from mazda for a 94 model with the "one touch" feature.
Inside pass door handle, I assume you are refering to the handle piece that is about 5 inches tall, not the lever that opens the door? If that is the case, they are expensive, aroudn $300.00 a couple years ago but I havent checked lately. There are some writeups on how to fix them somewhere here on the forum.
