Problem when replacing the pilot bearing..

Upon replacing my pilot bearing in my 1994 rx-7... I noticed some sort of seal when I removed the pilot bearing. Its dimensions are about the same as the piot bearing and its no thicker than a nickel. It has a rubber linning in the inside. After you put in the pilot bearing the seal slides in (im assuming to hold the pilot bearing in place). Well I order a complete Spec 2 clutch kit for it and the kit didnt come with this seal. So im wondering if anyone knows the correct name of this seal and where I can get one ASAP... Thanks for the help guys!!!

Correct ,I buy them by the box from Mazda ,5 to the box .It is to keep the grease in the bearing and the dirt out . You will need to put one in .

You BIG TIME need one. For no good reason, pretty much all aftermarket clutch kits DO NOT include the seal. Without one, the pilot bearing's grease can slowly be flung away, running it dry and making the part fail.

Get a few when you get one - it's easy to mis-install and mangle one if you haven't done it before.
