My clutch change (56K beware)
Here's some pics of me and my friend doing my clutch at the base shop:
Here is a couple of pics of the pilot bearing. There was nothing let of the bearing and the casing seized up in the eccentric shaft.

Hey, that is a beautiful, but dirty , montego blue FD on that other lift!!! Hmmmm I don't know who owns that car but he is one lucky fellow!! HAHahahhahaaaaa
That was a good time Marshal! Lets do it every weekend!!!!!! hahahahaaa j/j I jusr love going to subway looking like a grime ball. I love the looks we got when we both pulled up in FD's and got out looking like we live in a dumpster. hehe

Like Nashman said BEWARE of the piolot bearing because it leteraly MELTED to the imput shaft. It took us a while to sand a smooth that shaft back out.
P.S> If anyone is going to replace their clucth don't forget to undo the clip in the bell housing access. You WILL NOT be able to remove the tranny if you don't. Trust me we know this well!!!! hehehe We fought that for a while til we printed out a direction page. After we unclipped it(about 2 seconds to do) the tranny slid right out.
thanks,

I had one spin on me on my new motor, and had to grind the little bastard out. PITA You installed some nice parts. Did yours pull out or was it spinning inside the esentric shaft too?
Well it was in the esentric shaft but not spinning. It basically welded itself to the outside!!! We had to grind and sand it smooth. Thank god the shop had a bearing puller
(nice one too!) that really helped us. That was the longest, most time consuming thing we did on the install.
BTW base hobby shops are wonderful. We couldn't find a tool that they DIDNT have!!!!! The use of a lift really helps. I couldn't emagine having to do this W/O one, and at 2 dollars an hour for all your tools and the lift, you can't beat it!

That looks better than what I got out! There were parts molded to the input shaft of the tranny!
There was one tool they lacked...the 2 1/8'' socket! But I came prepared...

I run a 6 puck ACT clutch with lightweight Racing Beat Flywheel... you get used to it... just have very little room between a catch or a stall and that clutch grabs like a **** =)
