Primary turbo inlet - hard pipe

Hi

Sorry for posting this but i still searched for an thread, i cant find an answer.

My primary turbo inlet hose from the airbox to the turbo is broken. So i have seen that some company offers an metal pipe ready to swap instead of the stock hose.
I only know the price, about 100 us dollars

Has anyone a hint which company that was?

Thx a lot
Andi - Lawman

PS: Yes, im talking for the metal - hose for stock air box!

I don't recall seeing that before. I only remember seeing such pipes as part of an aftermarket intake or the intercooler pipes.

Ah it was an aftermarket product, which would fit to stock airbox and open cone filter elements.

For most of those hardpipes, I have rarely seen one that will work with the cold air intake boxes for the primary turbo. I believe the RX7Store sold a kit which did fit, but you should contact them and ask them.

I use the M2 CAI and bought some of the eBay intake piping. The pipe for the primary didn't even come close to working. I doubt it would have worked for the stock intake box. However, those are fine if you are just putting K&N filters on the end of the pipes.

are you speaking of the line from turbos to the intercooler, because the stock tends to crack and ware under boost?

here is the part at rx7store: http://www.rx7store.net/product_p/efiniypipe.htm

He's referring to the piping from the turbo inlet to the intake box (and/or filters):

Might be worth looking at the Fighters intake -

http://www.fighters-garage.com/rx7.html

Comes with the hard pipes bead-rolled so they don't pop off, filters, airpump hookup, etc. for a fair price.

With the ebay piping, it didn't work with my apexi at first.

I pulled out the dremel, and an hour later, the problem was solved.

My brother also dremeled the ebay piping for his ARC intake which i think is pretty close the the stock box.
