PRI NEW for 2025

ACT made BIG NEWS at the PRI.

if you are making 480+ hp you really have had two clutch choices, both not being ideal.

ACT single disc package with the competition (read heavier) spring and an unfriendly clutch pedal

Exedy double disc featuring a moderate pedal but cerametallic friction material which decreases the ability to feather on take up

ACT introduced a flywheel clutch package that checks all the boxes.

able to hold 590 ft pounds of torque, easy on the leg and ORGANIC SPRUNG LINING!

a key consideration re the clutch decision is driveline shock. our driveline was designed for 185 ft pounds of torque. single turbo power output presents a serious challenge for both the transmission and the spider gears in the limited slip. the biggest shock is on take up. the ACT double disc will reduce stress on our drivelines due to softer springs, organic lining and the sprung hub.

lots of really neat features if you take a close look. forged aluminum cover, engineering to greatly reduce the typical twin plate rattle noise from the intermediate plate, really robust springs in the discs;

Thank you ACT for accommodating our prized but vintage cars.

sign me up. (yes they will happily make mine w a push configuration and swap in Tremec splines)

take a look:

I hate to buy another thing for a driveline I'm going to need to change eventually, but this looks very cool.
