presure for aeromotive fuel reg

hi,
i instaled an aeromotive fuel pres reg and i wonder where to take vaquum from.
there are a few unused ( i am single turbo) niples on the UIM at the right side just before the throtle body. can i use one of those?(the unused niples are : the purge control niple, the vaquum chamber niple and the pcv large niple) .
also there are two niples on the left side of the UIM but i have atached the Bov and the boost gauge to them.

does it mater to what niple upon the UIM i take the vaquum from?

also i see that there is a niple at the rear of the LIM just beside the rear injector.

any thoughts?

thanks!!!

You can use pretty much any nipple on the UIM or you can use the nipple that points rear toward the firewall on the inside of the LIM that you mention above.

do you recomend to take presure for the wastgate solenoid from the turbo compresor housing or after the intercooler?
for now it is taken from the turbo housing and i am thinking if it is a mistake.
thanks!!

If there is already a hole for a fitting on the compressor housing then use it. It doesn't really matter where you get the pressure source from, you will have to tune the boost controller to the pressure that you are trying to make. The compressor housing will have a slightly higher reading then the pipe that is after the IC.

Just T into the line from the comp housing. There is no need to run a line all the way across the entire engine bay then down to your WG from the TB IC piping. If you want a separate line, then you could always add a nipple to the turbo to IC pipe, this will save you from having to remove the comp housing to drill and tap it.

I would be more concerned with the wastegate line.

If you want a separate line, then you could always add a nipple to the turbo to IC pipe, this will save you from having to remove the comp housing to drill and tap it.
