Pressing in cluch and car wont start.

I think there is a piece missing that is supposed to go on my clutch pedal to push the button by the fuse box. Because when I push the clutch in it doesnt hit the button and the car wont start. I am having to reach up under there and push it with my hand and start the car. Anyone have a part number for this or a fix for it?

I noticed a little plastic contact button on mine. it gets brittle and falls apart. It's located on the clutch pedal arm, bout the size of a nickle. Took one off a Honda Civic

you can also just buy a rubber bumpstop at a hardware store that will fit in the hole.

For part numbers, I think it's Mazdaspeed.com that has the full parts list for your FD. Look it up and download it.
