Power Window. Where to go to have it fixed?

Well have a warranty on my FD and my pass window is stuck down, I tried jumping it from both driver and pass side switches but nothing seems to happen. Also tested to see if I am getting power to the switches and I am very much so. I can not think of any more ways to figure out what's wrong. But once it turns day time I will see if I have any disconnections anywhere. Would you guys/gals perfer taking the car back to a Mazda Dealership to fix my power window? I have always been told never go to the dealership with my FD, or should I go somewhere else? Thanks!

If you have an aftermarket warranty, you can take the car anywhere. Go to a rotary shop.

BTW, did you make sure the pass window lockout switch on the driver's side door isn't set to "ON"?

yea I have checked it many times hoping that was the problem but is it not. Sucks that its stuck, thus making me garage the car until it is fixed =\

My passenger side would not work, it turned out to be the harness on the inside of the drivers side door. After time water gets in and corrodes the metal connectors inside. I had mine taken apart and cleaned. Since then the window has worked. been about a year.

a way for you to test this is to remove the black cover that is on the harness (when you open the drivers door), then press down on some of the wires and the same time press the drivers side passenger window down and see if works.

if it doesnt work from drivers or passenger side its either the motor or the harness most likely.

But then again never mind im usually wrong. Thanks for humoring me.
