power steering line

is the power steering line a certain length for a reason??

is it going to screw things up if i shorten it?

I am referring to the very long one that loops back and forth and goes into the front mouth of the car...it is getting in the way - need to do something about it

THanks,

The metal loop is a cooler for the power steering fluid, but the length of the rubber line would not matter.

With the Greddy FMIC kit, that line is actually removed and REALLY shortened, behind everything. BUT the replacement line still has a little loop in it for some cooling, So take that into consideration. But you dont have PS, just eliminate it completely man.
