In before the A-holes!

Safe boost level is STOCK level on a STOCK engine. 10psi. Don't raise it until you have an ECU/BC/Fuel mods in place. Do it right the first time. Don't cut corners.

Many stock twin/port fella's see the range of 320-360rwhp with some modifications and raising the boost. Read all the FAQ's and Stickies. Enjoy.

After blowing 2 motors in my 93 touring running 15psi and driving the car pretty hard, I keep my boost level at 10psi for daily driving, and 12 psi for spirited driving. Of course this is with the proper fuel management, which is essential when raising the boost levels. With my current setup, I dynoed 299hp/260tq at the wheels with dp, mp, cb, intake, pettit computer, and 12psi. With the addition of an intercooler, power fc, fuel pump, and injectors, and maybe 14-15psi. I hope to reach at least 330hp before upgrading the turbos.

Its not the engine that limits you, its the ECU and fuel. With those stock I would recommend stock boost at 10lbs. With an ECU then 12 is fine. Go single, the sky is the limit if you have the money.
