Is the car stock? What's the history of the car (engine miles, any work done on it lately, how long has this problem existed)?

Check your TPS reading when it's fully warmed. When your car heats up, the voltage goes up. You may be fine when cold, the heat may put your TPS voltage out of spec.

Check your clutch switch for the idle problem. If the prong is stuck in, you idle will be effected.

I had a similar prob and it was the LIM gasket. This was years ago so not sure if this will help. I may be totally off base.

Lower Intake Manifold...you want to eliminate all other possible solution before going to this one.

If this only happens when the car is warm, I would start by checking the Idle Speed Controller. You can disconnect it as a test and see how the car reacts:

Have you checked anything that was suggested? Diagnosing is a process of elimination, start with easiest solutions.

Adam C: Where is the clutch switch located? Curious cause I have a little idle issue but it's not bad by any means it's just annoying that when I put in the clutch my cars idle will jump and the same when I put the car in neutral and roll to a stop. However the revs don't continue to jump after I do stop when I roll in neutral to a stop. Just been trying to figure out what my problem is for this but in no way does it affect driving so I haven't been to concerned but who knows it may be something worse then I think.

You shouldn't just put a Power FC on there without a properly running engine. It could possibly cause other significant problems.

My idle went crazy after installing the PFC. Turns out that the wire for the clutch sensor in the ECU wiring harness had been cut by a previous owner or an alarm installer (I have no idea why). I had idle issues on the stock ECU, but they just got worse on the PFC. Fix the problem before going to the PFC. It is definately a good ugrade when your car is ready.
