Power FC or Intercooler?

I need some advice on what upgrade to do next on my 93.I have done the following mods to the car so far.HKS single turbo conversion(T4E),HKS intake, downpipe and midpipe(straight through exhaust).Greddy PRofec boost controller.Should I get the PFC first and then tune it later for the intercooler or get the intercooler first and have it preprogramed for the intercooler?Which way makes more sense?

What ecu are you using now? If you just got done doing the conversion and still only have the stock ecu, then yes, you will need the PFC before you get the IC.

If I wanted to buy a PowerFC for a good price, I'd go here: http://www.jappartsspecialist.com/main.htm

Do a search on these forums for "jappartsspecialist" and you'll find some members who purchased from there, and were happy with the transaction, as well as the PFC.

the piece of mind having a phone # to call and talk to someone in english anytime is worth the xtra 100 bucks it might cost going through srmotorsports. versus saving throught an overseas supplier and getting skimped on customer service...

Same way you get help if you bought it here...local rotary shop.

*Edit* And you would probably save about $300. But it's your choice...

The price from Japan is $690+$40 for shipping compared to $1250.00!I am no gambler but that seems like a deal I would be willing to take.If others haven't had a problem and have been happy why not?

Haywire93: I suggest you do not drive your car as is. Did you leave the rat's nest in place? You have jumped into the modding game way over your head with that single conversion and your current knowledge of the car.

To run anything more than 10 psi with that turbo (and what would be the point of only running 10 psi???), you will need:

*the PFC (tuned for your car!)
*an intercooler
*an upgraded fuel system (injectors, fuel pump, possibly aftermarket rails and pressure regulator)
*colder heat range plugs, possibly ignition amp
*upgraded clutch

I have a good deal of knowledge about the car.I have done all of the work myself and have been consulting with Atkins Rotary which is about 40 mins away.I have had the car on the dyno and had the AF ratio checked and it is ok for what I am running.Believe me I wouldn't drive it if I didn't have the input from these places.I am not pushing the car at all at this point until all of the upgrades have been completed.

Just buy it used. I see them in the F/S all day. I don't understand how you have a single turbo setup w/out a computer? Did you do anything in the way of fuel? You should have probably done all the upgrades before going single, but I guess its too late now.
