power fc boost controller?????

I have ordered a power fc + commander for my 93 FD ( Stock Twins) and was wondering if the boost control kit for the Power fc is any good or should i go for the
APEXI AVCR R for the extra few dollars.
What do you think?

you might want to do a search.

the old style greddy profec B still seems to be the best for our cars. Check out the rx7store for the newer "old style" Profec.

The PFC can control boost all by itself using the stock solenoids. Most of us have achieved better/more consistent boost control with a separate boost controller using it's own solenoid. I don't have any personal experience with the PFC boost control kit, but it uses the same solenoid as the Apexi AVC-R.

Given the interface of the PFC, I would rather have a separate boost controller like the Greddy Profec Type-S.
