Post your air intake temp..
Like the title say's please post your air intake temp and intercooler set-up, I have a greddy SMIC and deciding to switch to a FMIC or V-mount but, I dont want to waist the money if there is not a big difference in temp with my SMIC...
I have searched for a thread like this but no luck in finding one..
This is not a SMIC VS FMIC VS V-mount thread..
Just post Air Temps and intercooler set-up please.
Thank you,
Kai

you didn't look hard enough, I think goodfellasfd3s or maxcooper had a good thread on this.
My intake temps are Ambient. I have a Blitz Smic with a dual stage water injection. One nozzle comes on in my elbow at 1 psi (2 GPH) and the other nozzel is in the end tank of the intercooler and comes on at 12 psi.

don't race, don't need to
Bone stock intake setup, battery moved and cooling hole for it covered. Intake temps typically run between 30 to 40 C just cruising around and freeway. Jumping on turbos will raise temps to ~50C, but they come down almost as soon as I get off the boost as long as I'm moving over 30mph or so. Sitting and idling with the fans on (stuck in traffic) I'll see temps up to 60C. Highest I've seen was 64C after 20 minutes sitting in 80F heat with the fans on.
These were measured with a Fluke voltmeter and thermocouple in the elbow at the AWS air supply. I want a Blitz, dammit!

Spurvo sounds the same as me:
Pettit Intake, Cool Charge II SMIC, 30-40 C, 48C when I'm REALLY hard on it. Heat Soak 55-60C.
Also running Aquamist Water Injection that comes on > 7 lbs of boost, mapped to my duty cycles. If I could stay on the boost longer, my intake temps would go down
