Over the last 9 years I've purchased A LOT of FDs and what's really cool about this car is the price has seriously remained about the same. I do however believe if you buy one with less than 30k miles and store it for 20 years it might be worth about 50k in 2027. Seriously I really think this car will be a collector. Now with that said your money should double about every 7 to 10 years so this certainly wouldn't be a wise investment
Just bought a low mileage FD (black R1 with 30k miles) for 20k which is approx. what it would of cost 9 years ago and no I'm not going to store it but I might take it to the track next weekend lol
I also believe paying 20k for a 1993 sports car is a bit nutty but this is what I'm talking about the FD already is a collector Hell you can get a really nice 2002 s2k for 20k.
