Possiblilty of fast idle?

Can anyone tell me what could be the possibility of fast idle? My idle is smooth and stay at 1100 rpm. would vacuum leak be the problem? But from what I know is if there is a vacuum leak idle would be rough. I just got this car not long ago. I have a lot of stuff need to be take care of . So I want to spend money on the primary problems first. If it is not a vacuum leak I will just do the hose job later. Thanks . By the way my car is stock

could be the idle screw (one of two or both)

if its a stock motor...idle should be around 750rpm

These cars will idle high when the coolant temperature still cold (below 170F). If the car is new to you, you might not be waiting long enough to check the idle RPM. Depending on the ambient temperature, it might take 10-20 minutes before your car warms up and drops the idle down to 750-800RPM.

leak past the throttle body (extension mani or LIM gasket), maladjusted air bleed screw (the one on top) or air adjustment screw (one underneath intake elbow on throttle body), fast idle cam not disengaging (due to wax rod issues, etc), or throttle position sensor out of spec. That's all I got. . . .

That's a lot of possibility, someone correct me if i'm wrong. vacuum leak after throttle will cause fast idle right? If LIM gasket is leaking, i would see coolant leaking too isn't it?

The fastest way to find out first is to buy a carb cleaner and spray it around the manifold area or rubber hoses and hear if the idle sound changes. That is the first thing I would do.... If there is no sound change then its not a vac leak~~
