Possible to modify Racing beat exhaust?

I know the duel tip has some not sure how much restriction, but i enjoy the low sound cruising and the look, so if possible i dont want to give it up. is there a way to make it flow better?

Flow is relevant as a whole system. Is your midpipe and downpipe open 3"?

Magnaflow mid, but it does restrict because a friend took his off during tuning (just the tip) on the dyno and made more.

Less restrictive exhaust is gonna be louder, it's a trade off.

dual

A long time ago, there was a good thread that had actual dyno data on the RB dual vs the N1 dual tip and the stock exhaust. I know it was something that helped sell me on the Racing Beat system when I needed to change exhaust systems. I want to say that the RB system alone added 12 hp over stock, which should indicate a very free flowing system.

i also think it was the old model rb duel my friend had so not sure if the newer model was flowing the same or better....

well i will do a test. When my car is tuning i guess i will tune it without the catback tip on and have it completely free flowing.. then after tuning is done and i have dyno numbers, ill put it back on and do another pull to see if/or how much of a hp drop off there is.. if its a big drop off ill just have to switch to something with better flow, but if its nothing too much and im still within my hp range ill keep it.

I have an Apex'i GT exhaust, and I think its one of the most free-flowing ones on the market, with 3.74 in piping, and minimal bends. If you decide you want a more free-flowing exhaust, I will happily trade you my Apexi for your RB. I live in CA and I need a quite exhaust since my FD is a daily driver and I don't like fix-it tickets. let me know if you are interested.

I would stay away from that exhaust just because I know how loud it gets. Depending on after I get the car tuned if there is a substantial amount of power loss then I need to look into another one, if its not that bad I think I may keep it

You're over-thinking it.
